INVERSE: a new creative writing project for LGBT young people

Inverse is a new creative writing project for LGBT young people, happening in the Spring of 2013. Over the course of a 6-week programme of weekend workshops, participants will explore writing in different forms; engage with ideas of narrative, identity and form; and create your own work. We're currently looking for LGBT young people, aged 16-19, who'd like to get involved in this free and open programme!

This project will take place over 6 Saturdays in May and early June. We'll be working with a wide spectrum of writing forms: poetry, prose and drama. These will be fun, dynamic and welcoming workshops. You don't need to be a writer already: we welcome beginners, readers, and young people just interested in creative expression.

Led by Nicole Rourke and Nathan O’Donnell, these workshops are a perfect starting point for those eager to try their hand at some writing, or simply interested in creative expression and exploration. These workshops are free, but places are limited, so you’ll need to book your place in advance. Early booking is advised!

When: Saturdays 4 May – 8 June (6 weeks)
Where: Dublin City Centre
Price: Free
Ages: 16 – 19
